Each year the Welles-Turner Memorial Library cooperates with the Glastonbury Public Schools to provide Glastonbury students access to books on their summer reading lists. Below you will find links to each school's list and response form. Students at Gideon Welles have no list but must read two books of their choice, one fiction and one related non-fiction. Students in grades seven through twelve are required to read two books from their school's list.

The schools' copies of the books will be available beginning June 16. The library's copies are always available unless they are checked out to a patron.

• Books for Smith School students can be found on the shelves by the window in the YA area.
• Books on the GHS list are on the second level of the library, along the right-hand wall in the non-fiction area.

The library's copies of the books on these lists will be be found in their normal location on the shelves.

A copy of the SMS and GHS lists are hanging by each school's books. At the time of this writing, a notebook with the graphic organizers/assignments is located by the downstairs copier. The library can not guarantee that this notebook will stay intact throughout the summer. The organizers can also be downloaded from this page or from this page of the schools' web site.
