Due to forecasted inclement weather, the library will close at 5pm on Monday, January 26. The current plan is to close on Tuesday, January 27 as well. If you are planning on visiting the library, please call ahead at 860-652-7719. Thank you.


Tax Forms

The library is expecting supplies of basic federal and state tax forms soon. We will no longer be receiving instruction booklets. Forms and instructions can be downloaded by clicking on these links:


Winter Storytime Schedule

Winter has arrived, and the library storytimes for preschoolers are a great incentive to get out of the house on those chilly days. The six-week Winter Storytimes will run from January 26 to March 6. Registration for residents takes place January 8 to 13 in the Children's Department. MORE

The library currently subscribes to approximately 25 titles, including these new offerings: Bon Appetit, Conde Nast Traveler, New Yorker and Wired. Browse through our collection of popular titles with no holds, no checkout periods and no limit on the number of magazines that you can download.

To access Zinio for Libraries, all you need is a valid Welles-Turner Memorial Library card, Internet access and a free account. Visit our web site at, click on Internet Resources > Downloadables and select Zinio. Free apps are available for most Android and Apple devices, as well as Kindle Fire/HD and Nook HD/HDT.
