SELF-e LogoDid you write a novel during National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo)? Want to publish it? Try using SELF-e.

SELF-e is a way to submit self-published works to the library. It is co-produced by the eBook platform BiblioBoard and Library Journal and is designed to expose eBooks to more readers via the local public library or nationwide.

Start by filling out a simple online form. SELF-e currently accepts eBooks in ePub2 and ePub3 formats, as well as PDF. As part of the process, you will select where you want your book to be published: your local public library; Library Journal; or both. If you select Library Journal, your eBook will be evaluated for inclusion in a curated national list. The form takes about 10 minutes to complete.

To view other self-published eBooks, visit the BiblioBoard web site from this homepage,, and select the SELF-e module. For more information, contact Reference at 860-652-7720. We look forward to reading your eBooks!
