When: Starting Friday, February 2, 2018

"Frozen Fish Tales" is a family reading challenge created by the Welles-Turner Library Children's Department to encourage families to read aloud together and be creative throughout the freezing month of February. Beginning on Friday, February 2, children may go ice fishing to catch their first challenge. (Fishing takes place in the Children's Department; not on the Connecticut River!) Once a completed challenge is returned to the library, children may fish for another one. For each challenge, children will earn a chance to win a frozen treat for the whole family. All challenges must be returned to the library by Sunday, March 4. For more information, please call the Children's Department at 860-652-7718.
