Welcome! We are proud to be a part of your child’s literacy and learning experiences. We offer a variety of materials, programs and services for children from birth through grade 6. We strive to encourage and enhance a life-long love of reading and learning. We hope you’ll spend some time browsing our links and reading about all that we have to offer. The Bear Ate Your Sandwich Book Cover- Used with PermissionJoin us and millions of readers across the country to show your support for literacy and early education by enjoying an indoor picnic and the story The Bear Ate Your Sandwich by Julia Sarcone-Roach. Pack your own sandwich, and the Children's Department will provide drinks and dessert. This special storytime will also include early literacy activities. No registration is needed.

Join millions of kids across the country to enjoy the story The Bear Ate Your Sandwich by Julia Sarcone-Roach. We will make cool sandwiches for snack, sing a sandwich song and spread the fun around. Registration begins October 13.

A place to learn, play, create and explore! Adults must stay and participate with their children. These are drop-in programs ~ no registration is needed.

When: Monday, November 7, 2016
Time: 4:15-5:30pm
Place: Library's Friends Room

Join us for some building fun! Creative kids will listen to a story and be challenged to design their own creation based on the theme. Plenty of LEGO® building bricks will be provided. Registration begins October 24 for residents; November 2 for nonresidents.
