Phantom of the Opera

Synopsis: This film is a faithful adaptation of the Andrew Lloyd Webber’s blockbuster musical. Phantom of the Opera tells the story of a disfigured musical genius (Gerard Butler) who haunts the catacombs under the Paris Opera. He falls in love with the lovely Christine (Emmy Rossum) and then devotes himself to creating a new star for the opera.

For knitters of all levels. If you don't know how to knit but want to learn, we'll show you how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off, and will also provide ideas for some easy projects. Other needlecrafters are welcome to join us with your crochet, needlepoint, etc.
Amy Bloom, best-selling author of Away and Where the God of Love Hangs Out, will speak at the Riverfront Community Center, 300 Welles Street, Glastonbury. Books by Ms. Bloom will be available for purchase and signing at the event. Refreshments will be served.
