ROCK
AND ROLL OVER DEAD
A MURDER
MYSTERY
FEBRUARY

The
Beachtree Public Library was planning a Rock and Roll Battle of The Bands
in their parking lot to attract more teens to library activities. But
the head of the committee, Melinda Carey, was mysteriously found dead before
a committee meeting! Who could have killed her? What was the motive? And
what was the murder weapon?
The production was aimed at having kids use what was given to them, as well as the help of others on their team, to solve the mystery to win the prize. It was a tough choice. There were about ten different suspects, all with little things to incriminate themselves.
This is the first time that the library has put on this type of production, and it would like to continue to put on more events and productions to get middle school and high school kids into activities at the library.
If you have any questions or comments, or some helpful ideas for future events, contact Welles-Turner Young Adult Librarian Miriam Neiman at 860-652-7718.
Have fun!
