Details: Ellen Wittlinger, the award-winning author of Hard Love, Razzle, Sandpiper, What's in a Name? and several other titles will read from her upcoming (in June) book and answer questions about her books and writing in general. Books will be available for purchase and signing. An autograph session will follow.

Note: Ms. Wittlinger will be concentrating on her books written for teens. Teens and adults are encouraged to attend.

For knitters of all levels. If you don't know how to knit but want to learn, we'll show you how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off, and will also provide ideas for some easy projects. Knitters are also encouraged to informally share titles of books they've enjoyed reading.

Stamp Out Boredom!
Who: Teens in grades 6-12

Where: Friends Room
Details: Use rubber stamps, colored inks, and special papers to create fun, attractive cards, stationery, and mini-notebooks.
Registration: Begins March 13

TAB (Teen Advisory Board)

Topic:The TAB meets monthly during the school year to discuss programs for teens and to help select materials for the Teen Room.

ANIME CLUB

Topic:Welles-Turner Memorial Library will host an Anime Club for teens who want to discuss (and watch) anime and manga.

PAGETURNERS
Who: Students in grades 7-12 who enjoy reading and talking about books

What We're Reading: March: The Long Night of Leo & Bree, April: TBA
Details: Each month, members choose a book to read and discuss at the following meeting. No vocabulary tests or discussions about underlying themes...we just dish about why we liked or didn't like it, what we thought about the characters, and so on.
Details: Refreshments will be served. Books will be provided.
